Admin Assistant

Do you want to work for a growing family owned multi utilities business?

At Connect It our order book is growing and so is our work! To help support our success we are looking to expand our Delivery team by recruiting an Administration Assistant.

Supporting our Operations teams and Delivery Co-Ordinator’s, the Assistant will need to hit the ground running and provide support on a variety of administrative tasks, from being the first line of response for enquiries, preparing electronic and paper based job packs for our operational teams, organising and making payments to suppliers and maintaining our electronic systems by acting as the data controller for our plans, drawings and certifications.

Working in a growing company means that the opportunity to grow and develop is also there. As a start you will be keen to learn other colleagues roles to offer support and also cover where relevant in their absence and this will build your operational and technical understanding. With excellent organisational and communication skills you will help to deliver a quality service, an aspect that we pride ourselves on.

work on your own initiative, whilst following prescribed procedures is key but critically, working safely is a must.

So, what will you bring to the role?

  • You’ll be highly organised with a can do attitude and have a passion for top quality customer service
  • At least one years experience working in an office environment ideally utility construction related
  • Have a high attention for detail
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
  • A willingness to build strong team working relationships and a hunger to learn.
