Job vacancy - Technical Co-Ordinator

Our Technical team are looking to recruit a Technical Co-ordinator, where you will become part of a fast paced, forward thinking function who thrive on providing an excellent experience to all our clients. The role is vastly varied, involving the co-ordination of many tasks within the Technical Department to ensure the smooth delivery of our multi utility operation. We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail with strong organisation skills, who is willing to adapt and support new tasks at the business develops.

The role will be responsible for:

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Act as a document controller, saving drawings and documents in accordance with our systems and processes.
  • Co-ordinate the legal process.
  • Co-ordinate gas and water connection requests.
  • Request MPANS & MPRNS from the relevant Asset adopters.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of the design process from contract award through to construction.
  • Co-ordinate the ordering and delivery of Substations.
  • Provide administration support to the Technical Managers.
  • Make payments, send remittances and record information.
  • Apply for Asset Maps and Highway Extent Plans.
  • Maintain records and documentation to ensure prompt asset value support.
  • Other administrative roles and duties as required.

Qualifications and experience:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a co-ordinator
  • Excellent organisation/time management skills coupled with an eye for detail to ensure that work is delivered accurately and on time, ensuring systems maintained.
  • Ability to work independently and be able to prioritise tasks and allocate work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Current use of Salesforce or other CRM system.
  • A strong customer service ethic
  • A can do attitude that will support other tasks as the business develops.
  • Technical experience in the Utility/Construction industry would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
