Reinstatement Supervisor

We’re expanding our teams and looking for a Reinstatement Supervisor to join us. You’ll oversee reinstatement works from planning through to completion, ensuring our sites are restored to a high standard and fully compliant with statutory and client requirements. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily reinstatement operations, including backfilling, surfacing, paving, and final finishes.
  • Coordinate with civils, electrical, water and gas teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Plan and manage reinstatement schedules to meet permit requirements and programme deadlines.
  • Monitor site progress to ensure high-quality workmanship and complete site clearance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with NRSWA, SROH, HAUC, and client standards.
  • Identify, record, and resolve defects quickly to prevent delays or recharges.
  • Support and mentor reinstatement operatives and subcontractors, promoting safe working behaviours.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to address reinstatement queries.
  • Validate job records, manage resources efficiently, and support cost control.
  • Record completed works, issues, and non-conformances on company systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, WRAP, and reinstatement best practices.
  • Proven experience supervising reinstatement, civils, or multi‑utility activities.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple teams and tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information.
  • Competent using tablet-based systems and mobile job management tools.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safe working practices and promoting a positive safety culture.

 

Educational Requirements

  • Experience in a multi‑utility environment (electricity, water, gas).
  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
  • SMSTS or equivalent site safety qualification.
  • EUSR registration for Power, Water or Gas.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
