Connect It Utility Services has strengthened its support for the Saints Foundation by stepping up as one of the Official Headline Partners of the charity’s inaugural Variety Show, held to celebrate local talent and raise vital funds for community work across Southampton.
The event, which took place at the Harbour Hotel on Friday, 23rd May, brought together supporters, partners, and performers for an unforgettable evening of celebration and fundraising. Connect It sponsored the event alongside Bargate Homes and Mackoy Ltd.
Guests enjoyed a drinks reception, three-course dinner, a line-up of variety acts, and both live and silent auctions. The evening raised an impressive £56,000 in total, which will help Saints Foundation continue its vital work supporting local people and communities.
Among the evening’s special guests was Mark Chamberlain – professional boxer, Connect It ambassador, and former IBF European, WBC Silver, and WBA Intercontinental lightweight champion. His appearance underscored the evening’s theme of championing local talent from across the South Coast.
The Variety Show sponsorship marked a major milestone in Connect It’s ongoing relationship with the Saints Foundation. Having recently upgraded from Corporate to Premium Patron status, the company has tripled its financial contribution to the charity, further cementing its long-standing commitment to the people of Southampton.
Jazz Bhatti, Head of Partnerships & Business Development at Saints Foundation, said: “A heartfelt thank you to our Premium Patron, Connect it Utility Services, for their incredible generosity in becoming the Official Headline Partner of our inaugural and very special Saints Foundation Variety Show.
“Once again, they’ve shown unwavering commitment to supporting the people of Southampton, and we’re truly grateful to have them by our side. A special mention goes to Managing Director, Laban Giles, and Finance Director, Glen O’Nion – both long-term supporters of Saints Foundation.
“Your belief in giving back to the local community continues to inspire us, and your support helps us make a lasting difference in the lives of so many. Together, we’re changing lives in Southampton.”
Laban Giles, Managing Director at Connect It, added: “We’re proud to have increased our support for Saints Foundation this year – not only by becoming Premium Patrons, but also by sponsoring the Variety Show.
“It was a fantastic evening that celebrated local talent and the strength of our community. Giving back isn’t just something we do – it’s a core part of who we are.”
