Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily reinstatement operations, including backfilling, surfacing, paving, and final finishes.
- Coordinate with civils, electrical, water and gas teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Plan and manage reinstatement schedules to meet permit requirements and programme deadlines.
- Monitor site progress to ensure high-quality workmanship and complete site clearance.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with NRSWA, SROH, HAUC, and client standards.
- Identify, record, and resolve defects quickly to prevent delays or recharges.
- Support and mentor reinstatement operatives and subcontractors, promoting safe working behaviours.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to address reinstatement queries.
- Validate job records, manage resources efficiently, and support cost control.
- Record completed works, issues, and non-conformances on company systems.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, WRAP, and reinstatement best practices.
- Proven experience supervising reinstatement, civils, or multi‑utility activities.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple teams and tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information.
- Competent using tablet-based systems and mobile job management tools.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safe working practices and promoting a positive safety culture.
Educational Requirements
- Experience in a multi‑utility environment (electricity, water, gas).
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation.
- SMSTS or equivalent site safety qualification.
- EUSR registration for Power, Water or Gas.
- First Aid qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
