At Connect it we’re looking to build on our success by recruiting more jointing teams based in the Kent / Surrey region.
Our jointing teams are responsible for installing, commissioning and inspecting power installations to their specific procedures on the LV, 11kV, 33kV and HV network. The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst following prescribed procedures is key but critically, working safely is a must. The role will be responsible for:
Key skills:
• Experience of jointing for a DNO operator completing a full range of jointing activities (LV & ideally HV).
• Link box inspections.
• Oil sampling and testing.
• A high regard and competency for safe working.
• Ensure risk assessments are completed and correct PPE is worn.
Qualifications and experience:
• DNO operational authorisations (e.g. SSEN, UKPN or WPD).
• Full clean driving licence.
• Have experience of working outside in all weathers

• With an eye for detail, you will be able to use a handheld smart device as a way of keeping detailed and accurate records of your work.
• First aid qualification.
• NRSWA accreditations.
• You’ll be an organised team with a ‘can do’ attitude, delivering top quality communication skills as you deal with the public and external clients alike.
