Queenshurst is a brand new collection of stylish apartments just a 5-minute walk from Kingston’s train station and town centre.
The Objective
Congestion in this inner-city was high and making sure that equipment and materials could be delivered to the site was crucial so that our teams could complete the work. Management and coordination is important on sites like these as there are many deliveries and timing to be kept to.
The Outcome
Our solution is assigning a site manager to every site who foresees our tasks on the project. They communicate with the developers and our site teams to clarify any confusion and feedback to our office team who are able to ensure smooth running. This allows us to maintain and circulate up-to-date information to everyone concerned and limiting disruption as we know that time and space is at a premium. Site managers collaborate with other participants on site to enable our deliveries to be as efficient as possible so they are just in time for the task at hand.
